To ensure that only the highest level of automotive professionals' work on Toyota vehicles. Toyota has partnered with industrials and technical training institutes across India to create the Toyota Technical Education Program (T-TEP). Over 12,000 students from these institutes have benefited from this Program so far, with over 1,000 students undergoing training on the latest automotive technology and service techniques. More than 70% securing employment in various automobile companies and their dealerships across the country.

I am from a small village and my family is into agriculture. From childhood, i was always passionate about technology. After completing my school education, i joined DIVT, Haliyal in 2005 where Toyota started T-TEP from 2006. I was part of the first batch of T-TEP program. During the program, i got introduced to the foundation principles of being a Toyota Technician like work safety, 5S philosophy, 10 principles of workmanship, reading Repair manuals, basic electricals etc. During the program, i got On-Job-Training at Shodha Toyota which gave the hands-on experience on working in Toyota Vehicles. Through career day, i was recruited by Ravindu Toyota. With my strong fundamental learning from T-TEP and through various Trainings at Toyota i could quickly advance in my career into senior technical role. These learnings also helped me to achieve the 2nd runner up position in the National Skill Championship conducted by Toyota. I also got the opportunity to work in TKM through the Dealer Inter Company Transfer Program which helped me to develop my skill in advanced technical operations. I thank all my teachers and trainers from T-TEP, TKM and Ravindu Toyota for all the learning and opportunities.
